Click Above to Watch Brian’s Afternoon Market Update Part 1 of 3 I never thought of myself or our farm in terms of being, or representing, what politically has become termed ‘Big Agriculture’ the way that the politicos define and portray it. I am just a farmer trying to be the most productive that I can be to the benefit of my family and community. We are a legacy farm family as we have farmed land in which we have had title for over a century. We received our ‘Century Farm’ award at the Iowa State Fair from Iowa Ag Secretary Mike Naig. I like Mike and believe that he has represented and promoted the interests of my family and other farm families in the state.  I am not politically active in any kind of aggressive sense. I have rarely made financial contributions or participated in organized political events. I consider myself an independent. I do express my opinion on policy impacting Ag as this report is opinionated and I advocate for our interests. Often that appears…
