Argentina First…US cattlemen get the leftovers. When Donald Trump definitively says that beef prices were too high and he intended to lower them…you should believe him. There is the political calculation that there are more beef consumers who vote than there are cattle producers and heck…most cattle producers will vote for him anyway…he is sure of that. Cattlemen will huff and puff voicing indignation over Trumps action that will accordingly bring cattle prices down with beef prices. I told you repeatedly in previous reports that it is 2026 and something would happen cyclically that would produce a big break in cattle prices this year. Trump gave fair warning. The Trump administration, with the support of Ag Secretary Rollins, was blaming high beef prices on the previous administration like they always do.
