Grains were set up toward a slightly stronger start in the current view of risk premium reentering the oil market, with that influence subject to change based on new development still to come the rest of Sunday. In the Headlines Iran said they were closing the Strait of Hormuz again, but there was not an immediate hostile action to enforce the announcement for what would be a clear break of the ceasefire. The Iranian response was against claims of the peace agreement being broken by Israeli strikes in Lebanon. Vice President JD Vance flew to Switzerland for talks with Iranian officials on Sunday. The developments caused further tension with Israel that included discussion of U.S. intelligence reports about Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu acting to undermine peace efforts with Iran. President Trump called out Iran for their proxies in Lebanon “causing trouble.” President Trump unveiled the new Air Force one jet that was gifted from Qatar. The plane will never see Qatar again with Trump in it, but it is expected to take the president to Turkey next month, which shares a border with shares a border with Iran.
