The Commstock Report is a twice daily market report. 06/25/2026 Click Above to Watch the Morning Market Talk Video War Premium Gone From Crude Oil On the Grains Corn futures posted contract lows overnight, with the front-month contract filling the September 2025 gap on the continuation chart. Soybeans rebounded from early losses to trade modestly higher early this morning. Wheat futures quietly pivoted around unchanged. Bullish enthusiasm is lacking in the grain markets as bulls wait for a trigger. Traders are showing no concern with the coming heatwave across the Corn Belt, as soaring temperatures are expected to be accompanied by near to above-normal rainfall – and then moderate. Brent crude oil futures wiped out all of their war premium, while WTI crude has nearly erased all of its advances since the end of February. Falling crude oil prices continue to pressure soyoil and palm oil, though both of those markets are still trading well above their Feb. 27 pre-war closes.
