Brazil Farm Tour season is over.  I led 36 farmers across Brazil over the course of a few weeks.  It wiped me out, but now I have a year to recover.  I learn something new every year.  I learned to avoid Carnaval at all costs with large groups.  The last tour group ran into the start of Carnaval.  If you have never been to it, it is the world’s largest street party that doesn’t seem to have a time to start time, or a finish.  It just goes 24/7.  I can neither confirm, nor deny, that some of the farmers may have enjoyed it a little too much.  We usually end our tour visiting the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio, which is one of the 7 wonders of the world.  One farmer referenced our visit to the Christ statue saying, “it was a good thing we went, as some people in the group needed Jesus after their time in Carnaval”.   Brazil’s 25/26 soybean crop is going to be big.  Probably bigger than 180 MMT.  I don’t recall seeing a bad soybean field during the entire trip.  While prices were very poor (cash price was around $8.75/bu) and costs…
