02/13/2026 Click Above to Watch the Morning Market Talk Video Soybeans, Wheat Pull Back from Thursday’s Breakouts On the Grains Corn, soybeans and wheat pulled back overnight from Thursday’s gains that saw front-month soybeans reach the highest level since the beginning of December, nearby SRW wheat the highest since November and front-month HRW wheat the highest since late June. Soybeans are sharply higher for a second straight week, while wheat futures rebounded from last week’s losses and corn is trading near unchanged for the week. Several trade and geopolitical items of note: The U.S. and Taiwan finalized the framework trade deal reached in January. The deal will immediately eliminate Taiwan’s tariffs of up to 26% on many U.S. agricultural imports, including beef, dairy and corn. But some tariffs, including the current 40% tariff on pork belly and 32% on ham, will only fall to 10%. The deal still needs approval by Taiwan’s parliament, where the opposition has a majority. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.
