02/10/2026 Click Above to Watch the Morning Market Talk Video Quiet Ahead of Expected Calm Storm On the Grains Grain and soy markets traded in relatively tight ranges during the overnight session as traders await USDA’s February crop reports at 11 a.m. CT. While markets are in wait-and-see mode, there isn’t likely to be any market-moving news in USDA’s data. There’s always the possibility of a surprise, but this month should be a virtual yawner with only modest fine tuning expected to USDA’s projections for 2025-26 U.S. and global ending stocks. A greater focus will start to be placed on USDA’s South American production estimates, though month-over-month trend is more important than the actual crop forecasts as USDA is typically seen as behind the curve on those figures. Other news is lacking this morning. Traders are waiting to see if USDA announces any additional soybean sales to China after 264,000 MT on Monday.
